Current Terms & Conditions due to Corona Virus (COVID-19)

In accordance with travel restrictions imposed by government advisories worldwide and as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect nations and people all over the world, we are giving the flexibility to the travelers to reschedule their trips and the payments done towards the trip will be available as a future travel credit.

The payments done towards any trips can be transferred to a new date or another trip as well without any cancellation charge.

If the guest chooses a trip or departure that is more expensive than the original, they are responsible for the difference in price; if the trip or departure is less expensive than the original, a future travel credit will be issued for the difference. Please note guests are responsible for any airline penalties imposed due to trip changes and/or cancellations.

 

Payments

For the services contracted, some advance payment should be made to hold the booking on confirmed basis & the full payment must reach us 90 days before the travel date in case of group bookings and 60 days before in case of individual (FIT) bookings. Wild Trekkers hold the right to decide on the amount to be paid as advance payment, based on the nature of service & the time left for the commencement of the service. Besides above, in certain cases like Train Journeys, hotels or resorts bookings during the peak season (Christmas/ New Year) or during fairs/festivals, full payment may be required in order to hold space on CONFIRMED BASIS. Please note that such payments are NON REFUNDABLE.

 

Mode of Payment

Payment can be made through Online payment options like Google pay, UPI or Bank Transfer.

 

Policy Regarding Cancellation / No Show / Early Departure

In the event of cancellation of travel arrangements due to any reasons – we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the time/date we receive your intimation in writing. Cancellation fees as below apply to the land packages and/or services.

For long tours
120 days prior to arrival – 10% of the Tour.
120 – 61 days prior to arrival – 25% of the Tour.
60 – 31 days prior to arrival – 40% of the Tour.
30 – 07 days prior to arrival – 75% of the Tour.
06 days – 72 hours prior to arrival – 90% of the Tour.
Less than 72 hours or No Show – No Refund.

For one day treks or overnight camps

Before  06 days full refund 

06 days – 72 hours prior to arrival – 90% of the Tour.

Less than 72 hours or No Show – No Refund.

For any train or flights tickets involved, the refund will be applicable as per the advised cancellation policy at the time of booking.

The deposits on the tours having special offers are NON-REFUNDABLE.

In case of special train journey and high peak season bookings (from 20th Dec to 15th Jan) a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which would be advised as and when required).

 

Refund

In regard to refund of unused / unutilized services (which are paid for and cancelled in advance) the refund amount would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described above and the money would be accordingly refunded to the person who has made the payment to us. Please note that the refund process may take 2 weeks due to banking procedures. 

No refund or reduction will be made to any member in respect of airfare, accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services which are included in the tour fare out not utilized by the tour member due to personal reasons.

 

Special Events & Products

Deposit, Final Payment, and Cancellation penalties may differ for special events, some customized groups including group tour airfares, tours with internal flights, and/or certain sea cruises as well as selected packages and hotels, and will be advised at time of booking on your invoice.

 

Travel Insurance

You are required to ensure that you are adequately insured for the full duration of the tour in respect of illness, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, cancellation and curtailment. The choice of insurer is the sole discretion of the client.

 

Group Harmony’s

Wild Trekkers reserves the right to accept, reject or expel any individual who is deemed disruptive or incompatible with the interests of the group, including, but not limited to, individuals who are intoxicated and/or under the influence of drugs leading to a negative experience for the remainder of the group. Expenses, including cancellation fees and/or costs for alternate travel plans or to return home, will necessarily be borne by the passenger. All unused services are non-refundable.

Age Requirements

Anyone under the age of 14is considered to be a minor. Minors must always be accompanied by an adult.

All bookings with a minor are subject to review and approval by the Culture Holidays. If the consent of a parent, guardian or any other person is required by applicable law for any minor to travel, the accompanying adult is responsible for securing all consents, documentation and ensuring that they and the minor(s) meet all legal requirements to travel, to enter into and depart from applicable countries and regions.  will not be responsible for any fees, damages, or losses incurred as a result of any failure to secure necessary consents, permits, and approvals.
